Kids' WB! 2004-2005 Preview

Beginning this spring, the Kids' WB! is following the biggest trend on television these days. No not reality dating shows, or home improvement programs, but a "all-year-round strategy". The idea is to make the fall debut style television season and February and May sweeps weeks obsolete, freely introducing programs at any time in the year.

John Hartman, senior vice-president of Kids WB! commented that, "In the ever-changing landscape of kids' television, Kids' WB! has solidified its dominance as the #1 broadcaster for kids, building on its success of creating high-quality hit after hit, such as the latest breakout series Xiaolin Showdown and Teen Titans. We are now gearing up with a crop of fresh new hits-in-the-making for our powerhouse schedule. In the spirit of our partnership with Cartoon Network, we will continue to jointly deliver quality programming and expand on the longevity of our many series to ensure that Kids' WB! programs reach and establish a new generation of fans."

Da Boom Crew (Fall 2004)
Da Boom Crew is a hip-hop, sci-fi animated series following the intergalactic adventures of four orphans who are transported into the parallel universe that strangely resembles the video game world they've created.

Produced by Jambalaya Studio/BFC Berliner Film Companie and created by Bruce Smith and John Patrick White & Stiles White based on a concept by Serge Michaels

The Batman (Fall 2004)
This new series is actually rather exciting, especially for fans of the caped crusader. We meet Batman back in the 1920s, when the Dark Night has only been protecting Gotham City for three years. This twenty-something DC Comics superhero is finding his ways as a defender of justice, meeting many of the classic Rogue's Gallery of villains for the first time.

Produced by Warner Brothers Animation.

Gagsters (Fall 2004)
Just when people have got that pathetic Punk'd show out of their minds, you can guarantee the format would come back from the dead. An "experimental format" show, it features no-holds-barred pranks, caught on hidden cameras. A team of young pranksters play practical jokes on unsuspecting adults. Viewers at home can go online and vote for their favourite gags, or suggest a prank. Yet another show to make Candid Camera's good-spirited laughs roll in their graves.

Produced by Gotcha Entertainment LLC.

Zolar (Fall 2004)
Kids' WB! first live-action movie ever follows "the action-packed, adrenaline-pumping adventure" of three semi-pro athletes. The team recruits a new member, and finds out that he's quite literally "out of this world". The team protect him from evil extraterrestrials attempting to steal the powerful alien life force he possesses.
