In response to a general lack of videos especially for pre-teen girls,
two dads from Highland Park, Illinois founding Blue Skies Media. Six years
in the making, they've now launched the MYBFF video series.
Celebrating sharing, and the fun and the special bonds among best friends, the first release in this wonderful new series is "Best Ever Sleepover!"
We join Zoe, Lauren, Jessica, Dana and Alex in a fun-filled over-night,
"best ever" sleepover advenutre. The five friends play games, including
a balloon-bursting truth-or-dare session ("Pop the Question"), stage a
glamorous pajama fashion show ("PJ Fashion Show") and glop on goop for
group facials ("Face First").
An ordinary sleepover turns into the "best ever" sleepover as 35-minute, live-action, Best Ever Sleepover! follows the antics of five young girls on an activity-packed, over-night adventure. Throughout the evening, Zoe, Lauren, Jessica, Dana and Alex delight in playing games like the balloon-bursting truth-or-dare session ("Pop the Question"), stage a glamorous pajama fashion show ("PJ Fashion Show") and glop on goop for group facials ("Face First"). For snacks, the girls munch on healthy foods they make themselves, like fruit and tasty dips. Other activities in the Best Ever Sleepover! include "Chairs Into Air", "Be-Jeweled", "Tongue-Tied", "Sleeping Bag Switcheroo" and "Psychic Pendulum". There's even an annoying little brother. The dads in charge of Blue Skies Media say that they used their "girls' input to make sure the video was both entertaining and relevant to their interests." The result is a fresh new VHS/DVD series, for an oft overlooked age group. When girls watch the video for ideas for their own sleepover party, they can just look through the how-to activity guide included with step-by-step instructions and lists of supplies needed for each creative activity. Best Ever Sleepover! won "Best Products for Winter" award from iParentingmedia.com, which provides a credible and objective method of determining the best products in the children's media and juvenile products industry, and recognizes those products with their awards. Three more titles in the MYBFF series, Best Ever Sleepover!, Volume 2, Best Ever Music Video!, and Best Ever Fashion Show!, will be released in 2004.
