DECEMBER 10

  • It's winter, it's fairly feel-good, so it's close enough to being a Christmas movie. Disney's "Snow Dogs" follows a successful dentist (Cuba Gooding Jr.) who inherits a pack of sled dogs. Also in the movie is Nichelle Nicholls (Uhura in "Star Trek") and Oscar-winner James Coburn in his final film appearance.
  • "The Simpsons"' creator Matt Groeniegs visually unique "Olive the Other Reindeer" airs at 7 p.m. on YTV.
  • New "The Santa Clause" airs on WGN at 8 p.m. Interesting by seemingly useless factoid of knowledge, some scenes were filmed in Hollywood North, Toronto, and a former classmate was one of the elves. More useful piece of knowledge, "The Santa Clause 3" is in pre-production. Exactly how many clauses were around that business card, anyway?
  • DECEMBER 11

  • At 6:30 p.m., a special holiday episode of "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" premiers. In "Holly Jolly Jimmy," the young brain travels to the North Pole to prove a theory of his-- that Santa Claus does not exist.
  • New WB and WPX air "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" at 8 p.m., a direct-to-video animated featurette based on the novelty song of the same name.
  • DECEMBER 12

  • "The Santa Claus Brothers" is a 3-D animated Christmas special, where Mr. Claus' bumbling sons try to fill his boots, as Santa ponders retiring. I saw it last year, liked it a lot. YTV at 7 p.m.
  • New "Call Me Claus" is a TNT-made movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Nigel Hawthorne (playing a retiring Santa Claus). Music provided by Garth Brooks, in this Turner Network Television movie at 8 p.m. Repeats on TNT December 14 and 23.
  • DECEMBER 13

  • "The Proud Family" celebrates the "Seven Days of Kwanzaa" on The Family Channel at 3:51 p.m.
  • "Prancer Returns" airs on YTV at 8 p.m.
  • ABC airs "A Charlie Brown Christmas" a second time this holiday season, presumably at 8 p.m.
  • New Everytime a bell rings, an angel earns its wings. And considering how many times this movie airs, there must be a very small percentage of angels that can't fly. Yes, you know its winter when the birds have flown south, or by seeing "It's A Wonderful Life" listed 20 times on each page of the TV Guide. Frank Capra directs Jimmy Stewart, 8 p.m., NBC.
  • DECEMBER 14

  • Thomas and the gang come to the rescue, yet again, and recieve a nice surprise for their valiant efforts in "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends: Thomas & Percy's Christmas Adventure." On Treehouse TV at 9:25 a.m.
  • New "Call Me Claus" is a TNT-made movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Nigel Hawthorne (playing a retiring Santa Claus). Music provided by Garth Brooks, in this Turner Network Television
