Shakira then realizes all the different types of protection all around town, leading to the conclusion that "while castles are relics, self-protection is not."
Violence is used sparingly, and when possible, less threatening alternatives are substituted in to the plot, like suction-cup arrows.
As far as I could find, "Timeblazers" has only been picked up in Canada on YTV (Saturdays, 8:30 pm ET), and on Discovery Kids. It's likely that other countries will pick it up soon, though.

Coneybeare has had an in with the television industry for all of his life now. His dad, Rod, was the voice for Rusty the rooster and Jerome the Giraffe on the legendary Canadian series "The Friendly Giant".
By the age of 18, he was writing scripts for "Hanging In" and "Checking It Out", two Canadian sitcoms. Later he moved to children's television, as he felt he could have more creative freedom. Coneybeare has written for "Kratt's Creatures", "Shining Time Station", "Caitlin's Way" and others. He now produces for CCI Entertainment, a successful television production company.

Has the girl who played Carly Beth gone on to do anything?Answer: First aired October 27, 1995 on what's now the Fox Kids channel "The Haunted Mask" special of "Goosebumps" starred Kathryn Long as a meek girl who put on a haunted Halloween mask, and wasn't able to get it off.
Ms. Long is actually the daugther of comedic legend Martin Short, and has made occasional appearance since her role as Carly Beth Caldwell.
Her most notable role was as Doris Bailey, a regular character through the first four seasons of "Wind at My Back", a Canadian television show.
She has had roles in the TV movies "Degas and the Dancer" (1998), as Pauline von Goetham, and "When the Dark Man Calls" as young Julie.
She has guest starred in "Forever Knight", "Psi Factor", and "Ready or Not."
