a three year old I would have to say that Dr. Seuss is my all time favorite author, with such books as the Foot Book, The Cat In The Hat, That Cat In The Hat Came Back, Are You My Mother, etc. These books not only have great imagination in them which I love, but they are also short and easy to read to the children of such young age. It is hard to keep my son's attention but with these silly rhymes he sits silently until I am done and asks for more.
But as a writer wannabe I must say I enjoy J.K. Rowling's, originally I bought this book for my son. I ended up reading it myself and bought the other three. This author is such an inspiration to me. She keeps you reading and wanting more. I can't wait until the next one is out.
