World Childfree Day
What would a hypothetical World Childfree Day be like? Well, for starters, it would be nice if the childfree could all get respect and understanding on that one day by the childed. Also, perhaps there'd be some local groups getting together, maybe just to show that we are happy in our choice, celebrating in a public way. Maybe there'd be public discourse, spreading the word that it is OKAY not to have children, discussions about birth control methods, sterilization -- and in general, getting our message out to the young who may be thinking about this path in life. I guess I'm dreaming...but it's a nice dream anyway.
