Memorial University of Newfoundland offers Irish classes through the Linguistics Department. SUNY Buffalo offers Irish classes regularly through their World Languages Institute. The University of Arizona's Critical Language Program occasionally provides self-instructional classes in Irish and Scottish Gaelic. UCLA offers classes in Old Irish and Medieval Welsh. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill sometimes offers Irish and Welsh classes through the English Department. The University of Pennsylvania offers classes in Irish through the Penn Language Center. The University of Pittsburgh offers Irish, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh classes occasionally through it Less-Commonly-Taught Language Center.
