Speaking of cafes, Britney will be opening up a bistro in New York called Pinky's. Hope she doesn't plan to do the cooking because last week she almost burned down a New York City apartment building. Britney was burning a candle in front of an air vent. But then she left and forgot to snuff the flame. The candle ended up setting the wall on fire and the NYFD had to douse the flames. Britney's mom said it's not the first time she's had problems with candles. Britney almost burned down the family's Louisiana home.
Roth and Hagar Team Up? Two former Van Halen frontmen are in talks for a summer tour. David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar are reportedly getting along very well and Hagar says the tour would be "the party of a lifetime." But then there's the issue of the fans. Some fans prefer the pre-Sammy Van Halen. Some prefer the post-David Van Halen. But concert promoters say if the tour happens, it will be big nonetheless.
Rosie's Out Rosie O'Donnell recently admitted she's gay on ABC's Primetime Thursday. She says part of her decision to go public has to do with Florida's statute on a gay parent's adoption rights. As a resident of Florida herself and in hopes of adopting a fourth child, Rosie says the law needs to be overturned. All three of her previous adoptions took place in a different state and don't apply to Florida's law. The adoption of her foster daughter, though, would affect the proceedings because of her sexual preference.
Michael Knight Makes a Comeback Fans of the '80s TV show Knight Rider are in for a treat. David Hasselhoff is revisiting his role alongside his talking car, K.I.T.T., in hopes of turning the show's previous success into a movie blockbuster. There's also talk that David's role will be minimal on-screen so the movie can appeal to a younger generation.
And if that's not enough Hasselhoff talk for you, there are currently talks of a Baywatch reunion. Since David's character was presumably blown out of the water, his role in the reunion is also in question.
