Bleeth Busted
Former
Baywatch star Yasmine Bleeth plead innocent to felony drug charges. Her court appearance comes after a September car accident near Detroit, Michigan. Cocaine was allegedly found in her pocketbook. Yasmine was arraigned on two felony charges of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs. Each felony charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in jail and up to $25,000 in fines. The misdemeanor could land Yasmine a 93-day sentence or a maximum fine of $500 or 45 days of community service. Yasmine and a companion were driving along Interstate 94 when her car pulled off the highway, ending up on a median. Police suspected Yasmine was intoxicated so they took her into custody. They searched her purse and allegedly found four syringes with a liquid form of cocaine as well as a small plastic bag with cocaine residue. Yasmine spent the night in jail and was freed on $10,000 bond. One day after her arrest, police took a search warrant to her hotel room and found more "cocaine and narcotics paraphernalia," according to police Commander David Early.
Britney A Boozer?
A Las Vegas nightclub is in deep trouble after patrons claim the bar served alcohol to 19-year-old Britney Spears. The Las Vegas Liquor Commission came down on the C2K club for the violation. The claims stem from a party thrown by Britney's beau Justin Timberlake and his band 'NSYNC last month. The owner of the bar says Britney was there but her and 'NSYNC were in a separate area where no alcohol was served. The party was a charity function to raise money for 'NSYNC's Challenge for the Children. Sources swear Brit was drinking alcohol and C2K is now revising its plan for private parties. After the incident, security tightened up at next door's Venetian Hotel. Insiders say Britney was banned from the bar area at a birthday party for one of her stage producers.
De Niro Or Not De Niro
Have you been hanging out with Robert De Niro or was it his former movie double? That's the question many people are asking themselves these days. Joseph Manuella looks so much like De Niro that he appeared in The Fan as the man himself. However, Manuella was arrested in Middletown, New York, for taking that role a little too far. He tried to attract women, claiming he was De Niro and also attempted to con businesses. This isn't the first time either. De Niro's spokesman Stan Rosenfield says, "He was arrested on similar charges two years ago, and part of his sentence was to agree not to do this again." Police actually picked Manuella up after a sting operation.
