Jen's Name Used in Anthrax Scare
Newlywed Jennifer Lopez received shocking news when Newsweek reported a "weird love letter" written to her was received by the man who died of anthrax. The report went on to say the letter had a "soapy, powdery substance to it" and also contained a Star of David charm. Bob Stevens, a 63-year-old tabloid photo editor, died in Boca Raton, Florida. Investigators also found anthrax on his computer's keyboard where he worked. Stevens allegedly received the letter one week before the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Law enforcement officials say they don't believe there's a link between the letter and Stevens' death. They believe he was exposed in some other way.
Emmy's Postponed Who won an Emmy? We still don't know. The Emmy Awards show was postponed indefinitely after the U.S. began air strikes on Afghanistan. "We are not calling it a cancellation at this point," Bryce Zabel, chairman of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences said. The 53-year old award show has never been cancelled. Television execs are thinking about moving the ceremony to an undisclosed California military base. They're wanting the ceremony to be in a location out of harm's way. They're also thinking about using the Emmy's as a way to entertain the troops. Zabel says they're considering all options. The Emmy's were originally slated for September 16 but were postponed to October 7 and, ultimately, postponed again. Go To Page: 1 2
