Heche Hitched You heard it here just a couple of weeks ago. Anne Heche was spotted shopping for wedding gowns. She put her shopping to good use and tied the knot with cameraman Coley Laffoon. The wedding took place just a little more than a year after she and Ellen DeGeneres broke up. The wedding ceremony was held near downtown Los Angeles with 73 friends and family members in attendance. Ellen, on the other hand, wasn't invited. Anne spilled the beans to Barbara Walters, announcing she's three months pregnant. She and Coley met while she was directing a documentary about Ellen's return to stand up comedy.
Geena's Married - Again
After nine months of engagement, Geena Davis and surgeon Reza Jarrahy married in a private long Island ceremony. "We are very happy and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together," the couple revealed in a statement. They're currently honeymooning in an undisclosed location but will make their permanent home in Los Angeles. This is the fourth marriage for Geena. Previously, she was married to restaurant manager Richard Emmolo, director Renny Harlin and iMac spokesman/actor Jeff Goldblum.
Kate's Marriage Sinks Kate Winslet, star of the 1997 blockbuster smash Titanic, has hit an iceberg of another sort. She and director hubby Jim Threapleton are splitting up after just three years of marriage. The couple has a daughter, Mia, who was born in October of last year. Kate's representative says the separation was "amicable." Ironically, in the September issue of InStyle, Kate says of her marriage, "Having a baby has strengthened the relationship, although there are highs and lows and at times it's tough. I know we're very lucky." Kate and Jim met on the set of Hideous Kinky and married a year later.
