The Cruises Step Out Tom Cruise and the future ex-Mrs. Cruise, Nicole Kidman, made a somewhat public appearance together at the premiere of The Others. Tom produced the flick and Nic starred in it. But he didn't approach her and didn't pose for any pictures with her either. He did, however, go without a date. That wasn't the case for the premiere of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, though. Tom and Penélope Cruz walked down the red carpet together and posed for the photographers. The two met on the set of Vanilla Sky. This hasn't left Nicole feeling too happy these days. She's absolutely livid that Tom is seeing Penélope. Nic allegedly made her husband swear up and down that he wasn't seeing or even interested in his co-star. Then, of course, Tom took his new girlfriend to Fiji - a trip the Cruise family was supposed to take together.

Jen's Getting Hitched It's officially official. Jennifer Lopez is getting married to back-up dancer, Cris Judd. The two hooked up while Jen was shooting her Love Don't Cost A Thing video. That's when she and then-boyfriend, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs hit the splits. At press time, engagement party invitations are being circulated for August 18. If you're one of the lucky ones to receive an invite, you'll head to one of those trendy Melrose Avenue restaurants. When Jen and Cris exchange their nuptials, it won't be the first time she's said, "I do." Jennifer was previously married to Ojani Noa for 10 months.

More Marriage News Angel's David Boreanaz and Son of the Beach's Jaime Bergman are tying the knot. David took his future wife to a California desert mountaintop and popped the question. They haven't set a date for their upcoming nuptials. This will actually be the second marriage for David. He was previously married to Ingrid Quinn.

Even More Marriage News You heard it here just a few months ago. Anne Heche and cameraman Coley Laffoon are getting married. Anne's been spotted shopping for a wedding gown at Saks Fifth Avenue. And if you feel like giving the two a wedding gift, head on over to Williams-Sonoma and check out their bridal registry. They've registered under a fake name so you'll have play detective to decipher the code.

More X-Files Agents To The Set David Duchovny quit. Gillian Anderson's evaluating her future with the show. To keep the X-Files from becoming the ex-files, the sci-fi show producers are bringing new cast members on-board. First, Robert Patrick was issued an FBI ID. Then Annabeth Gish joined the cast. The latest recruits include Lucy Lawless and Cary Elwes. Details of Lucy's character are being closely guarded. Cary's character, on the other hand, is being touted as "a guy who is a little more buttoned up, a little more polished; he represents a different kind of FBI," according to the show's creator and executive producer Chris Carter. You can catch both Lucy and Cary in their new roles during the series premiere of the X-Files November 4.
