They're Fired!
You heard it here just last week! Dallas, Texas, deejays Kramer & Twitch started those rumors that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were involved in a serious accident. According to their rumor, Britney was dead and Justin was in a coma. Clear Channel Communications, the parent company of Dallas' KEGL-FM, has fired the deejays for their wrongdoings. The deejays, Keith Kramer and Tony Longo, say they did create the hoax and cleared it with their program director. They also say their original plan was to target Metallica's James Hetfield. But since KEGL has a rock-based audience, they thought that was too cruel. They figured Britney and Justin were easier targets. At press time, photos of Kramer and Twitch still remain on KEGL's Web site.
Ben's Busy? Ben Affleck may have a new movie out but he's also been stalking a man. That's according to one Matthew Hooker. If the name sounds familiar to you, it should. Matthew's been accused of stalking Nicole Kidman. He's the fellow that actually showed up on Nic's property saying he wanted to take her to the opera and her and Tom's kids to get ice cream. Now he's saying, Ben's been stalking him. Matthew says the Pearl Harbor star is tailing him to "ruin my reputation with leading actresses." He claims that Ben followed him disguised as a Frenchman, "with a 'pencil or 'toothbrush' mustache, and a French shirt on." He even stated, "Ben--if you think by smearing me you can get Gwyneth back, or date Claudia, grow up." Ben's publicist isn't commenting on Matthew's claims. Let's just say Ben was tailing him. He'd be in plenty of company. The Secret Service is now watching Matthew as well. He has already proclaimed that he will run for president in 2004. He says the Secret Service is involved because, "They're probably protecting me because I'm a presidential candidate."
