Rosie Released Rosie O'Donnell spent five days in a New York City hospital after suffering from a staph infection in her hand. She went to the emergency room because she was in "excruciating pain." Her hand has actually been operated on three times to repair a severed tendon. The injury is a result of a fishing trip injury. Rosie cut herself with a knife.
