Back To Rehab
Just a few months ago, Matthew Perry said he was back on track and living the good life...drug free. Now he's back in rehab for an undisclosed illness. The Friends star has been in and out of rehab centers before. One of those visits to rehab was to kick his addiction to the prescription painkiller Vicodin. Matthew became addicted to the drug after a personal watercraft accident and having his wisdom teeth pulled. In May 2000, he had a whirlwind month, crashing his green Porsche and being diagnosed with another mysterious illness. No details on Matthew's whereabouts or the reason for him seeking treatment have been released. His publicist says, "Matthew has every intention of completing his treatment so that he can continue his dream of entertaining people and making them laugh."
Pig Murder? Okay. Show of hands. How many of you were offended when Survivor II castmate, Michael Skupin, offed a pig? When the pig ran through the Kucha tribe's camp, Michael went after him. He stabbed the pig, skinned him and then smeared the blood on his cheeks. Kimmi - the New York bartender who unwillingly left the island during Thursday February 22's episode - clearly showed her disgust over the slaying. She's not the only one. Animal rights activists are outraged. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) complained to the Queensland, Australia government. Now the "murder" is under investigation. Australian officials will review the February 15 episode to determine if animal cruelty laws were violated. You remember the original Survivor was in a similar situation when the tribes ate rats. Of course, nobody smeared rat blood on their face. 20 Days, $25 Million How would you like to make $1.25 million a day? Rumor has it, that's just what Harrison Ford's pulling in for K-19: The Widowmaker. In an eight-hour work day, that's $156,250 an hour. About $2,600 per minute. $43 per second. If Harrison's pay stub holds, that puts him over Marlon Brando. Marlon earned $3 million for just four days of shooting in 1978's Superman. Harrison says, "The cash didn't tempt me." It didn't hurt either. Perhaps he's stocking up in case he and his wife of 17 years actually do get that divorce. For all you fans of Indiana Jones, you might see your favorite adventurer starring in a fourth sequel. Harrison could be pulling in $40 million for that flick.
