Scoop for the Week of November 24th

Drew Carey
Drew Gets Green It was no staged act! If you saw the beginning of Saturday Night Live, you watched a skit between the engaged Tom Green and Drew Barrymore. In the skit, Tom pretended to spring an on-air SNL wedding on Drew. At the end of the show, Tom was left at the altar screaming Drew's name. In reality, they were supposed to get married at the end of the show. But Drew changed her mind 5 minutes before the ceremony. There were even big celebs waiting behind the scenes to see the two tie the knot. Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sara Gilbert, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were all present. Tom and Drew are still planning on getting married in the summer. But Drew said an on-air wedding would be "inappropriate."

Meet The Douglases Didn't get invited to the wedding of the year? Over 250 guests made their way to the $2 million wedding of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. Those guests included Goldie Hawn, Christopher Reeve, Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, Sharon Stone, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone. Despite all that star power and a whole slew of security, apparently someone made their way into the ceremony with a video camera. A woman using the name Yazmine Melendez called the tabloids and said her husband snuck in an taped over 2 hours of wedded bliss. They're reportedly asking six figures for the tape. This would cause quite a stir to British magazine OK!, who paid around $1 million for exclusive rights to photograph the wedding.

That 70s Flashback You won't be seeing Lisa Robin Kelly on the set of That 70s Show any time soon. She called in sick the week of Halloween. The show's produces decided to take a trip to her Santa Monica home to check on her. When they got there, they found Lisa "totally out of it." They took her to the hospital where tests uncovered she had alcohol and painkillers in her blood. The show's execs gave Lisa an ultimatum. She had to enter rehab and any other incidents of alcohol or drugs would lead her straight to the unemployment line. Producers are paying for her month in treatment, placed her on probation and suspended her without pay.

Rosie Calling It Quits? There's been a lot of will she, won't she talk surrounding Rosie O'Donnell lately. Her contract for The Rosie O'Donnell Show is up in 2002 and she's been saying she may not come back for another round of her talk show. When she visited the Today show, Katie Couric asked Rosie if she was going to continue the show. Rosie was supposed to make an announcement in January but instead said, "All right, I'm not going to do it." She was originally on Today to discuss her new magazine, Rosie's McCall. Industry pros say Rosie may just be pulling a bluff to get more money.
