MTV = Marriage TV? Screaming girls. Hanging around all the beautiful female pop singers. It's just not enough for Total Request Live's Carson Daly. The MTV host asked actress girlfriend Tara Reid to tie the knot. The two have dated seven months but you probably remember his previous romance to actress Jennifer Love Hewitt. They dated for a year and a half...back-and-forth from L.A. to New York. Carson and Tara haven't set a date yet. They met during this year's famous MTV spring break outing in Mexico. They now share an apartment in Manhattan.
Christina Wallbanger? Christina Ricci is taking a direct hit from director Vincent Gallo. She starred in his directorial debut, Buffalo 66. Gallo decided he had to have her play the lead in his indie-flick. He says he's had a crush on her since seeing her in The Addams Family and Mermaids (even though he's almost 20 years older). But when he ran into a New York Post columnist, he didn't display that once-affectionate love for Christina. When asked about her role in his film, Gallo said, "It was OK when she wasn't drunk on the set. I think she's an alcoholic - it was either that, or she was on cough syrup the whole time. I don't like her. But it was okay. She's basically a puppet. I told her what to do, and she did it." No problems have been reported from her other movie sets. She continues to make one hit after another including, Sleepy Hollow, Prozac Nation, The Man Who Cried and she's currently working on Pumpkin. As Christina's rep said, "Maybe he's [Gallo] just trying to get into the papers."
