Scoop for the Week of September 15thThe Moonwalk - Sans Michael Jackson... Are you ready to take Survivor to the next level? Then welcome to space. Forget being stranded on a desert island. Forget the Australian Outback. We're really talking about a reality-based show that's out of this world. The executive producer of Survivor has developed a show that will boldly take an ordinary person where no other ordinary person has gone before. Mark Burnett recently sold the rights to Destination Mir, a show that will have 16 contestants competing for the chance to blastoff into space. The astronaut wannabes will start off in space boot camp with - you guessed it - challenges and ultimately eliminations. First prize is a trip to Russian space station Mir. Don't pack your space suit just yet, the launch pad will stay cold until the fall 2001 target debut. Brad-Man The Next Batman? Brad Pitt may have recently tied the knot with Jennifer Aniston, but he's still got his eye on his career. Maybe. There's a fifth Batman in the works and it's rumored that Brad wants to wear the cape. Of course, Batman's rubber suit is starting to get a little rank from all of the previous Batman's. They include, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney. And if you're into the six degrees of separation factor, Brad's married to Jennifer whose co-star is Courteney Cox-Arquette who just happened to date Michael Keaton before her Friends days.
