Ellen And Anne In The Can
They've shared the spotlight together many, many times before. This time, though, their spotlight's bulb has burned out. Anne Heche and Ellen DeGeneres have gone their separate ways. They issued a joint statement, reading, "Unfortunately, we have decided to end our relationship. It is an amicable parting, and we greatly value the three and a half years we have spent together." The breakup comes on the heels of Ellen's cross-country comedy tour, which Anne directed as an HBO special. They also worked together with Sharon Stone on an HBO series If These Walls Could Talk 2. Anne directed as Ellen and Sharon played a lesbian couple trying to have a baby. Another interesting factor to this breakup is Anne's reaction. She showed up on a stranger's doorstep incoherent and confused. She was taken to the hospital but was released. Sources say she was distraught over the breakup. They both claim there was no third party involvement that contributed to their split.
So-Long Survivor Were you one of the 51 million people that watched the Survivor finale? Rich, the man most likely to be naked, walked away with a cool million. The show's ratings jumped 66 percent to watch the two-hour finale. And while most people pulled for Kelly, the lesser of two evils, Rich ended up winning by one vote. Even though she won the last five immunity challenges and seemed to have the "younger" vote, former contestants voted Rich had played the game well from the start. And the fiery soundoff from Sue to Kelly is a thing of the past. The two seemed to be in good spirits at the Survivor reunion. Australian Survivor's debut is sketchy. CBS is looking to air the show after the Super Bowl. Playboy Spread Thin Three rejects! You toss hundreds of thousands of dollars in women's faces to pose nude and what do they do? Well, they don't! And what's even more strange is the trio of women who told Playboy to stuff it. You'll remember that Survivor Colleen Haskell was approached by the nudie mag but she was quick to refuse their offer. Fellow castaway Jenna Lewis was offered $500,000 to pose. She struggled with the decision, stating the money would help her raise her two daughters. But, in the end, she said no. Wait! That leaves one more. Roseanne, yes that Roseanne, says she's not going to be the next centerfold either. She won't say how much green was flashed at her, but the slimmed down comedienne says Playboy is "too adolescent a publication to show a real live sexual woman." If you have your heart set on seeing the new Roseanne au naturel, she'll be showing her gear in the October issue of Gear.
