Backstreet Boy Becomes A Man Back in February, teenage girls shed a few tears when Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys announced his engagement. But he's not engaged anymore. Don't get your hopes up. Now he's married. All of his Backstreet Boys brethren were on hand to help celebrate the wedded bliss. The new Mrs. Backstreet Boy is his on-again, off-again girlfriend of eight years. As he said, "She knew me when I was a Ninja Turtle." (He used to work at Disney World). You may remember his cousin and fellow BB, Brian Littrell, announced his engagement the same day as Kev. Brian hasn't set a date yet.

It's A Bird. It's A Plane. It's A Plane Crashing. There's something in the stars. Hollywood stars, that is. Harrison Ford is probably Patrick Swayze's best friend right now. That's because Harrison crash landed his plane - his second in less than a year. So a little of the "Another Celebrity Crashes His Plane" spotlight has been taken off Patrick, at least momentarily. Harrison's six-passenger Beechcraft Bonanza got caught in the middle of shifting winds in Lincoln, Nebraska. The wind shear tossed his plane right off the runway. He and his friend, Steve Stafford, were uninjured.

Okay, so the spotlight's off Harrison and back on Patrick now. His June 1 crash landing is still under investigation. But it may be cigarettes - not alcohol - that are taking center stage in this investigation. It was just last week when three men said they lied to police about witnessing the crash and that they had actually helped Patrick unload booze from the plane. But Federal investigators found a broken clamp on a hose which, reconfirms Patrick's initial statement of pressurization problems. So what does that have to do with his intoxicated appearance? Everything. Patrick admits he smokes three packs a day! And when human chimneys are subjected to high levels of carbon monoxide in a tiny cockpit, they'd appear just as drunk as Barney on The Simpsons.

No Heart Of Stone Sharon Stone's played the motherly role in movies like The Mighty and Gloria. And now she's playing the role for real. Sharon and her husband, Phil Bronstein, adopted a baby boy. They've tried to have their own children, but after several miscarriages they decided to adopt regardless if she gave birth. Baby Bronstein was born several weeks premature and only weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces. But he's doing fine and Mama Stone says, "He's my wonderful, precious little Buddha. He eats like a champion. He sleeps peacefully - and he's the apple of his daddy's eye."
