Swayze Swaying? Just weeks after Patrick Swayze crash landed his plane in Arizona, witnesses to the crash have been arrested for lying to police. Seems Patrick may have had his seats and tray tables in the down position because he had beer and wine in his 1978 twin-engine Cessna. Three construction workers who were near the crash site failed to mention they helped Patrick unload the booze minutes after the crash. Then they took him to a local hotel. One of them said they helped him dispose of half of a 30-pack of Miller Lite beer and added that Patrick's eyes were bloodshot and his speech slurred. His rep denies the alcohol rumors and pointed out that at least one of the three tried to sell his story to a tabloid.

Aloha Marriage So you're sitting on the beach in Hawaii. The ocean's the most beautiful blue you've ever seen. The summer breeze smells of suntan oil. Are you inspired yet? Courtney Thorne-Smith was. Well, now she's Courtney Thorne-Smith Conrad. She recently married her fiance, Dr. Andrew Conrad, in a garden ceremony on the Hawaiian island of Lanai. But that wasn't her plan! They just went to the Aloha State for vacation with their family and friends. And since they didn't apply for their marriage license in time to have a stateside wedding, Courtney said, "Why not do it now?" They found a minister and exchanged vows just 24 hours after their arrival. Melrose Place co-star Lisa Rinna said, "As Courtney and her mother and father walked down the aisle together, all of us hummed the wedding song."

Andy Suffers A Heart Attack Everybody's favorite sheriff/lawyer/father/comedian, Andy Griffith, is recovering from a heart attack and quadruple-bypass surgery. Doctors expect him to make a complete recovery. The 74-year-old actor's wife says he is still weak but is slowly recuperating in his Manteo, N.C., home. Andy is best known for his depiction of small town sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry as well as the truth finding lawyer Ben Matlock. But you can also look for him in the upcoming movie, Daddy and Them. He'll play actor-director Billy Bob Thornton's father.

Matthew Rejects Emmy Guess Friends really do stick together. Matthew Perry is proving once again that the Friends sextet bands together. He withdrew his name from the Emmy ballot. His agent submitted him for the lead actor in a comedy series category, which has now been summed up as a little mix-up. Lisa Kudrow apparently doesn't feel the same way...she's been nominated twice and took home the Emmy once for supporting actress in a comedy.
