Mad About You? Is Helen Hunt (who's on this week's birthday list) still Mad about Hank Azaria? Sources say no. Seems Hank is only saying he's "still very much married" but not necessarily happily married. Considering he's also moved out of their L.A. home and into the Bel-Air Hotel, one would have to assume this isn't what those happily married couples do.
Mrs. Brad Pitt
Talk of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston tying the knot is spreading like wildfire. They're telling all their friends that they'll be getting hitched next month in Los Angeles. But Brad's rep says the two "don't have a wedding plan." She did say that rumors about him being upset that Jen put the "W" word pressure on him are false.
Oscar The Grouch The golden friend to Hollywood, AKA The Oscar, is back in the news again. First 55 of those prized little statuettes were stolen, then Willie Fulgear found 52 of them in a dumpster. He was awarded $50,000. Now he's out $40,000! Willie kept the cash in a safe at his apartment. Trouble is, when he left town to go on vacation, robbers took the safe with them. "I didn't get a chance to even enjoy my money," he said. Bet you won't hear of someone finding $40,000 cash in the dumpster and turning it in.
Officer Douglas
You probably don't know Michael Douglas for his work as a police officer. But while he was working on the set of his new film, Traffic, he helped the cops bust one of two teens who stole a car. This particular teen ran right by Michael. A high speed chase ensued but the two ended up getting caught anyway.
In Traffic he stars as a drug czar who is shocked to find out his own daughter is a user. Ironically, his son just escaped a hefty prison sentence for cocaine possession by pleading guilty to the lesser charge of disorderly conduct.
Roller Girl Skates On Heather Graham, best known as Roller Girl in Boogie Nights, skated out of boyfriend Edward Burns's life for good. The two were living together in Los Angeles. Ed still plans on purchasing John F. Kennedy, Jr.'s, loft. But Heather had never intended to leave the lights of L.A. to live with him in New York. Hopefully, the two will have buried the hatchet enough to promote their new film, Sidewalks, which they made while all was happy in love land.
