Engagement Of A Lifetime
Okay guys. Listen up. Want to score major brownie points with your girl?
Well, it helps if she's a guest star on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then you
walk out and ask her to marry you. That's exactly what happened to Law and Order's Angie Harmon. She was
completely surprised - to the point of being unable to speak - when her NY Giants
football player-boyfriend, Jason Sehorn, dropped to one knee and popped the question.
Right there in front of the television audience. Jay was in on the proposal plan. He asked
Angie about if she was seeing anyone special. She said, "I never talk about my personal
life publicly." Now the whole country's talking about her personal life. Hopefully the fact
that annulment-seeking Darva Conger being in the Tonight Show audience isn't a
bad omen.
Playing House? Justin Timberlake of 'NSYNC and Britney Spears have been denying rumors that they've been dating. Evidently, they're doing more than just dating. She's been spending cozy nights with Justin at their place in Hollywood Hills. Sources say they've been shacking up for about a month now in their $15,000 a month rented love nest. When Britney's mom found out, she hit the roof. Seems Britney told her mom she was staying at a girlfriend's. And if that isn't enough to keep young Britney busy, she's also been named spokeswoman for Clairol's Herbal Essence product line. Perhaps all the excitement is what has a tired Britney being accused of lip-synching her March 9 concert in Birmingham, AL. Audience members say the concert was ruined with her allegedly faked performance. But Britney's people claim it was equipment failure caused audio problems. Maybe playing house has taken a bigger toll on Britney than she realizes. Whatever the reason, fans weren't saying, Hit Me Baby One More Time.
