However, producer Bill Clark was quick to point out that the weekly drama has shown the arrest of approximately 10 cops and the police have never called the union for a boycott. The Emmy-winning series has also featured several corrupt officials getting busted before and Clark says firefighters shouldn't take it so personally. Not every firefighter is sharing the UFA's outrage. A union representing 2,500 Fire Department supervisors is not joining the protest. They say it's "inappropriate to respond to a fictional TV program." Maybe the two unions can turn the hoses on each other and may the best firefighter win.
