Judge Judy and the people against her will probably end up on a very special episode of Judge Joe Brown.

Happy Halle Halle Berry's up for two Golden Globe nominations for producing and starring in the HBO-TV movie Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. And now she's engaged! Her former boyfriend turned fiance, jazz musician Eric Benet, recently popped the question. Halle's former marriage to Cleveland Indians outfielder David Justice (former outfielder for the Atlanta Braves) turned into a messy divorce. Eric's also experienced his own share of a broken heart when he lost his girlfriend, the mother of his nine-year-old daughter, in a car accident. But they've found love once again and plan on getting married in the year 2000. What a way to start the new millennium.

Superhero Or Superzero? He was dubbed "the next Harrison Ford." Now Ben Affleck's being labeled as the next Batman. Could he revive the slow-dying superhero franchise? His days of blockbusters like Armageddon have been long forgotten. Ben's buddy Matt Damon took the serious actor route, so where does that lead the other half of the Matt/Ben duo? Perhaps Matt will suck it up and slide into that rubber suit as Ben's sidekick, Robin.

MTV=Microsoft? Do you want your MTV? Then you want your M2, Nickelodeon and VH-1 too. Viacom's MTV Networks are under investigation for possible antitrust violations. They're looking into allegations that the cable giant demands for exclusive rights to air music videos on MTV, M2 and VH-1...a violation of antitrust laws. Viacom raised suspicion when they acquired the small video channel the Box earlier this year. The Box was one of MTV's only competitors. Now BET and little-seen networks like Canadian-based Much Music are the only ones in the music video game. And if that's not enough, Viacom's trying to get $35 billion approved to take over CBS-owned Country Music TV and Infinity Broadcasitng, the second-largest radio broadcaster in the U.S. With MTV reaching 72.6 million homes and VH-1 in 68.8 million living rooms, artist's wouldn't experience such high album sales without them.
