Scoop for the Week of Dec. 3rd

Regis Reigns Who wants to be a millionaire? Apparently ABC. Not only are they bringing back Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, they're making it a permanent series. The popular show that swept the nation will air at least three nights a week starting in January. Millionaire will continue to be hosted by Regis Philbin, the man people are saying saved ABC. But there's no room for a sidekick in his new time slot. Kathie Lee will have to stay home with Frank.

Brendan's Bedazzled Okay, guys. You're set to star opposite Jennifer Lopez. What do you do? Quit! That's exactly what Brendan Fraser did. He dropped out of The Wedding Planner to star in a big-screen remake of the 1967 Dudley Moore comedy Bedazzled. Brendan (who celebrates a birthday this week) will play a cook who is saved from suicide by the devil. So what would make a guy leave a starring role with Jennifer Lopez? Insanity? Maybe. A $10 million paycheck? Definitely.

Good Help? Good Riddens! It's hard to find good help these days. And even harder for good help to find good bosses. That's what five temporary cooks and cleaners are saying about Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin. Evidently, the Rambo star can be tougher than his on-screen characters. See if you'd work under these conditions: Don't speak to Jackie Stallone (Sly's mother who lives on the premises), bring your own food, don't look directly into Sly's tough-guy eyes. And if those rules don't have you ripping up your employment application, what about this one: when Sly walks into the room, back out and vanish immediately. Get out your red pen and keep searching those classifieds.

Sucker Punched Looks like Robin Givens picked up some moves from ex-husband Mike Tyson. She sucker punched Mother Love and will take over as the host for Forgive or Forget. Okay, so there weren't any punches thrown but headlining the syndicated show will take Robin's career in a new direction. She's played the diva on the big screen and even starred in TV's Head of the Class. Now Robin will play the peacemaker...a role Mother Love started in June 1998. With Robin's divorce to Mike and his legal woes afterwards, looks like Robin would more likely be a guest than a host.

Bed Side Manners You've heard of women having cat fights on the set. What about men? Well, Noah Wyle recently clashed with ER's new hunk Goran Visnjic. No, it wasn't about who had the best hair. It all happened when Noah whined about the quality of food on the set!
