Not Jingle Bells...Wedding Bells
The question of marriage is a popular one this time of year. But is it the
question that Brad Pitt has
asked Jennifer Aniston?
Jennifer hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend with musical guest, Sting. Brad and
Jennifer went to Sting's Sunday night New York concert where they joined him on stage
to sing, "Fill 'Er Up." The lyrics go a little something like this: We're going to Vegas, we're
going to wed..." But it was Brad holding up Jennifer's hand at the end of the song to show
the knockout diamond on her finger that shocked the audience. While sources say Jennifer
says she is engaged to Brad, both of the couple's publicists say no. You know what they
say, though. A diamond is forever.
Partying Like It's 1999
The Artist Formerly Known as Prince (how many times have you
heard that one) is getting ready to Party Like It's 1999. Can you believe it's been
17 years since the hit song 1999? The Artist is still getting gigs and he'll ring in the
New Year with a pay-per-view special that promises to be the only Millennium Eve
performance. The concert is set to kick off at 10 p.m. (ET) Dec. 31, from The Artist's
Paisley Park Studio in Minneapolis.
A New Book Or Real Life?
He loves her madly but a woman half his age is carrying his child. No, it's not the latest Danielle Steel novel...it's her real life! George
Hamilton, 60, made the moves on model Kimberly Blackford, 31, after her mobster
boyfriend was sent up the river for doing those things that mobsters do. In March,
Kimberly found out she was pregnant with George's baby. The plot thickened when he
started playing with women his own age. He started dating Danielle Steel, 52, over the
summer and the two plan to get married. Even Danielle couldn't write a happy ending to
this story.
Groovy, Man
Can't get enough of the 70's? Then you'll be glad to know That 70's Show has been renewed through
2002. By then the show will have enough episodes to qualify for syndication. FOX's powerhouses have been The Simpsons and The X-Files. But That 70's Show is the
network's first live-action hit sitcom in years. Although the show's ratings have slipped
since it's first season last year, they've recovered 42% of those ratings after moving to
Tuesday night and losing their Simpsons lead-in...And that has network execs
wearing their bell bottoms proudly.
