He's No Mailman Ricky Martin may be living La Vida Loca, but he violated a federal law! He failed to register with the U.S. Selective Service System. The 27-year-old Latin hunk can never correct his mistake either. Born in Puerto Rico, Ricky is a U.S. citizen. But he failed to sign up with the Selective Service by the age of 18. A reminder was sent to Enrique Martin Morales (his real name) at age 19. What does this mean for Ricky and his fans? Well, the Department of Justice isn't throwing the book at draft deadbeats for now. But he won't be able to hold a government job. That's right. He'll never be a mailman. But he's delivering just fine.

Roseanne Attacks Guest Just when you thought it was safe to be a guest on a talk show, Roseanne pulls a Jerry Springer. Only, it wasn't the guests throwing punches...it was the host. Latino comedian Marilyn Martinez used to work the comedy club circuit in Denver with Roseanne. She thought she was appearing on Roseanne's show as part of a reunion between the two. But, in the middle of the interview, Roseanne started screaming, "You f----d my husband." Then she grabbed Marilyn's neck and started choking her. The audience didn't know if this was part of the show. Neither did the crew. They scrambled all over the set not knowing what to do. Perhaps Roseanne's just a little stressed that NBC has dropped her show from 11 of its TV stations and five of the top 10 markets.

People's Hit List When the stars come out to play, it's like a big parade. Or maybe it's more like a circus. People magazine plays the ringleader with their annual Best and Worst Dressed List. Heading the men's pack of the worst dressed was none other than Adam Sandler. It's not like he can't afford better clothes. And as one People judge said, "He looks like he eats Cap 'n Crunch cereal and channel-surfs all day in his underwear and a T-shirt." Don't we all? Other Worst Dressed winners were David Arquette, Val Kilmer and Nick Nolte.

The Worst Dressed Women were dominated by songbirds. Madonna made the list for a record sixth time. Mariah Carey, Shania Twain and Cher sing backup to Madonna on the Worst Dressed List.
