Scoop for the Week of Aug. 20thBlair Barf? Everyone's going crazy with the low-budget hit flick, The Blair Witch Project. Movie goers are more than upset...to their stomachs. The movie was completely ad-libbed and the actors shot the footage themselves. So some audience members are a little more than nauseas at the lack of tripod use. Even movie theater owners are running scared...of the bathrooms. Blind Friend? She looks perfect. But you'd have to tell her because she can't see! Friends star Courteney Cox had to have laser surgery to correct extreme nearsightedness. Her doctor says Courteney's vision had deteriorated to about 20/400 in each eye. That's below the legal limit for blindness! But Courteney's excited about not having to memorize everything when she has to give a visual presentation. No word on if the other Friends "were there for her." Fighting For His Daughter Motley Crue singer Vince Neil filed a lawsuit against Rocketdyne Aug. 13 over the death of his little girl. Rocketdyne is a test site used by Boeing for rocket engines and fuel. Vince's suit claims Rocketdyne dumped toxic substances on property near his former home. His daughter Skyler died in 1995, at the age of four, from liver cancer. And Vince isn't the first person to file suit against Rocketdyne. A class-action suit with more than 200 plaintiffs has been filed based upon increased instances of cancer in both the plant and in the surrounding area. Skyler's medical expenses ran as high as $2 million. Vince said, "I am prepared to fight for my child since she no longer can." ER = Emergency Raise
Want to know what doctors are making now? Just ask Eriq - not a doctor but plays
one on TV - La Salle. He'll be staying in the ER for the next three years for a mere $27 million.
Some of that money is retroactive to last season but he will be averaging $410,000 per
episode. A nice raise from his current $85,000 per show.
