King Recovering Stephen King was walking near his home in Maine when he was struck by a van. He was thrown 14 feet when the driver of a minivan lost control of his vehicle after he was distracted by his Rottweiler. The driver does not face charges. Officers did note, however, that King, 51, was in violation of the law since he was walking in the same direction as traffic. King underwent more than seven hours of surgery on his injured leg and hip Monday. Doctors say he will need at least a year of major rehabilitation before he can regain the ability to walk normally. But his office says his injuries are only from the neck down. His mental state is great. King is currently in serious but stable condition at Central Maine Medical Center, where he will likely remain for two to three weeks.

But Mrs. B said she would only take him back if he wrote a letter to Jen's New York-based boyfriend Carson Daly of MTV's Total Request Live. In the letter Scott blamed Jennifer for their flirtation saying it was she who caused him to almost lose his wife and sons. Now everyone knows what she did last summer.
