New Things

Here it is another new year - seems like everyone was just worrying about "Y2K"! But we have to accept it and deal with it, so I've been thinking a lot about new year's resolutions and new things.

Of course, a new article is due so that's been on my mind. I wish I had the time to write one all the time, but I've restarted schooling and there's plenty of writing needed for that too. Sometimes I wonder just what kinds of information is needed with this topic. I hope the articles cover enough areas, but not so much that you may lose interest! So what I am trying to say is that I'd like your feedback, your idea of how this topic should be, and most important, your opinion. Would you be so kind as to share that with me?

So far, I've refrained from mentioning commercial products because I want to remain objective and just write about cats themselves. But products can be important to our lives with cats. And writing stories about cats, real or fictional, seems like it's not enough. As a reader, I want to be able to learn something useful; practical insights from internet web sites, magazines, books and other's experiences. So as a writer, I want to convey the same useful knowledge. At the same time, I recognize that stories can be good learning opportunites and just plain fun (which can be "useful" too).

In that spirit, I've decided to include a few "new things" out there for cats today, for your information. Here's what Cat's Magazine has for the newest toys for all kinds of cats.

I hope that you find all the articles, links, discussions, bulletins, etc useful. Please take the time to let me know if they are or if they are not. Why do you come here? Why do you read? What would you like to know? What is missing (if anything)? Thanks for helping to make this a better topic and I hope you have a great new year!

Iris gave me a lot to think about for my next article (coming out Feb 1). I did as much research as I could for the time. I hope she and everyone enjoys it and can get something out of it.
