Farewell Note To Subscribers

Dear Subscribers, I am writing this little note to let you know that I am resigning as Catholic Religion/Saints Contributing Editor. Recently, I took on another job and I cannot keep up with everything. I have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated my year and a half at Suite101. It is a great community of writers and editors and a wonderful place for a writer to post his/her work. My Managing Editor John Hoh welcomed me with open arms when I arrived, and on my departure does the same. I am always welcome to write for Suite101. I plan on working in writing/editing and technical writing with my own writing as an avocation. I have three books in my Katie Marie series that I want to eventually publish in print. Another book on the list is Living, Loving, Healing Hearts composed of meditations based on the writings of St. Therese of Lisieux. Why do I continue to write? It brings me peace of mind, and centers my soul as I struggle on through this earthly journey hopefully someday towards heaven. If you want to know what I am doing, email me at Palm906@aol.com and I will write to you! Thank you for subscribing to my topic and may God bless you. Following is a first page excerpt from Living, Loving, Healing Hearts: Dear Lord, You are with me in whatever direction I take. You say, like leaves turn, take your life with its cracked and crumbling countenance and give it to me. Are we not but ashes falling to the wind? Some people arrive in the world in a gentle hush and leave in the wake of a sound sleep. Others announce themselves like trumpets, traveling as tornadoes twisting lives into confusion and despair. Let my life be a wisp of air against the sway of a fresh green leaf, or shriveled brown but dedicated to my Lord and God. When I hear Your voice do with me as Thou wilt, a leaf blown and battered in the winds of time. May I have my face turned towards heaven, like the golden leaves of autumn turning towards the Son of man. - S.M. Coyle "All my life God was pleased to surround me with love. My first memories are stamped with smiles and the most tender caresses! Oh! truly, everything smiled at me on earth. I found flowers under each of my steps, and my happy disposition contributed much to make my life pleasant." - St. Therese, The Little Flower
