Catholic material for your computer

Maybe you're not much of a book person-you'd rather pop a CD into your computer and explore, printing out only what you want. There are some great Catholic compact discs to check out.

Harmony Media, Inc. puts out a complete interactive guide to Catholicism. The "Welcome to the Catholic Church" disc includes the Revised Standard Version of the Bible (the Vatican's preferred translation), all Vatican II documents, the Catholic Catechism, The Way of the Lord Jesus (a two-volume work on Church moral teachings), maps of historic periods and places, Lives of the Saints (three complete volumes), liturgical music and color illustrations. The CD also contains Church history and sources of Catholic dogma.

Although the information may seem overwhelming at first, I think you'll find it easy to navigate through. Harmony also offers the Illustrated Catholic Bible and the Lives of the Saints each on a single disc.

If you like games, the Catholic Challenge Bible Game from Divinity Religious Products will help you brush up on your Bible knowledge. I find that when I play this, I learn too. You may play alone or with someone.
