Let's start with My Catholic Start Page, a very profesionally done site by Paul McLachlan, father of three. Here you can get your Catholic e-mail, do a search, read the divine office and mass readings, e-mail holy cards and much, much more. Click to The Catholic Pages to read articles (check out the prohecies about the popes) and participate in the intelligent and meaningful question and discussion area.

Moving on, let's visit Saint Joseph's Covenant Keepers, a site with helpful and inspirational ideas for husbands and fathers. The site includes online family resources and "The Eight Commitments of a Covenant Keeper." Sign the guestbook and get a free tape, "Man to Man," by Steve Wood about how to have a happy marriage.

Prayer to St. Joseph

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt, before the throne of God. I place in you all my interests and desires.

Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly, power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart. Press him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kisss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, Patron of departed souls, pray for me.

Now let's move from an organization site, to some family pages. Chris and Janine Rose authors of Awakening Hope are converts from Methodism and have two daughters. Their site is not just a Catholic site, but also has pages about computers, health, Northern New York, and pages for teens.

A more famous convert is Dr. Scott Hahn, a former Presbyterian minister who is now a Roman Catholic apologist. John Darcy maintains Dr. Scott Hahn Links Page with Hahn's conversion story and some of his teachings. Dr. Hahn has five children.

Dr. Hahn and his wife, Kimberly, have written a popular book, Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism. Dr. Hahn has also written on the fatherhood of God in A Father Who Keeps His Promises: God's Covenant Love in Scripture. He says that the Cathlolic Church has for a long time needed a book about the love of God and His provision for us a family that is written for "Joe Sixpack-in-the-pew.
