Fatima, Portugal, is the site of the most famous modern apparition of Mary. In 1917, Mary appeared to three shepherd children over a period of six months. Mary spoke these words asking for many prayers for world peace, devotion to her Immaculate Heart and First Saturday Devotions. Marian apparitions have reached an all time high.
