Salem Lake Trail - Winter Scene

Winston Salem Parks and Recreation - Parks and Trails - A listing and brief description of all city owned parks in Winston Salem, NC. Of these, I am most familiar with Salem Lake Trail which is one of my favorite wooded trials. Salem Lake Trail is an unpaved 6.5 mile trail that circles around Salem Lake. It is a wide trail and is used for walking/hiking, running, biking, and horseback riding. There are a number of more rugged unofficial trails that branch off deeper into the woods for those looking for a more adventurous walk in the woods.

Greensboro Parks and Recreation - Greensboro's Trials - This page provides links to detailed information regarding all the cities trails. Includes maps.

High Point Parks and Recreation - High Point Parks - A list of all High Point city parks including a brief description of each. Where nature trails are available they are indicated.
