In Search of the Best Beaches

Every week we see new polls on various subjects showing up on the Internet. I would like to see someone take a poll on the percentage of people who LOVE spending time at a good beach. In fact, in my feeble little corner of this world I intend to do just that. I realize it won’t be nearly so organized or so ‘clinical’ as the ‘official’ polls. However, I expect to get results straight FROM THE HEART!

I hope that everyone who LOVES BEACHES will give a loud yell as they read this, and let their opinion be heard by all around them. Who knows, a few hearty “I LOVE BEACHES” resounding from various corners of the globe might just put a smile on some faces that perhaps have forgotten how to curl the corners upwards. You might just manage to help that person suffering from high stress seated or standing nearby to experience a drop in blood pressure or something good like that.

Of course, I realize that not everyone who reads this will be doing so in a crowded office or room, but I hope that all across the land we can make this very profound point…. MOST PEOPLE LOVE BEACHES! Realizing that, we can then assume something else about all such people as well…. Most people who love beaches would LOVE to visit the many islands of the Caribbean if they were to have the chance!

It is my hope that in these pages in coming months we can take you on a trip within the regions of your mind. I want to help you to visualize not only those wonderful beaches, but also many other very special attributes and attractions of the many islands we will write about.

I DO want to make it very clear that I am not implying the ONLY good feature about those islands are the beaches. I also do not want to imply that they ALL HAVE good beaches. In fact, some, such as the island of Saba have no beaches to speak of at all.

My main focus for this article on these very special place, is upon the one subject that I believe nearly everyone can read about and feel good doing so. The Caribbean certainly HAS the beaches… great beaches… WONDERFUL BEACHES! Roaming the various shores you will find sand in more shades than you ever dreamed about, and water in more varying hues of blues and greens than you ever imagined possible. Add to that a blend of gentle breezes, swaying palms, and the golden rays of sunlight streaming down upon your skin, and you just CANNOT fail to relax and enjoy yourself!
