The Education Field

Oct 1, 2000 - © Archana Khambekar

The employment market for educators is expected to be good due to continued growth in enrollments, there being a greater demand for qualified teachers in certain specialties such as math and sciences. With an increase in the number of non-English speaking students in the classrooms there is also a need for bilingual teachers who can teach English as a second language. Special education teachers, secondary school teachers, college and university faculty, are among the occupations with better than average prospects.

In recent years initiatives are being taken to improve the quality of education to better prepare students for higher learning and successful transition to the workplace. By joining the education services industry you too can make a valuable contribution.
