Cold Process Soap Making 101 : Review of Suite University Course

Want to colour your soap, or leave it white? This is a personal choice. Because of a skin disorder, I never use coloured or perfumed soaps. It is nice, however, to give these as gifts and Georgina explains all about the process. Lesson 4: Soap Recipes In this lesson, Georgina shares some soap recipes with her students. They all sound wonderful. At the risk of giving something away, I am going to say that I plan on attempting to make the Citrus ZING Body Bar. It sounds heavenly. Lesson five and six are meant to be reviewed together, as they contain step-by-step soapmaking instructions. A great way to "move forward" into the New Year, by trying something creative and new. I'm going to leave the rest of the course as something of a mystery. I can say that Cold Process Soapmaking is a wonderful course that is well written. It teaches us how to make our own soap without the use of preservatives. This is great for anyone who has skin disorders or allergies. Though this soapmaking is a much different process from the one that Grandma used, it is less time consuming. I know that the end result will be just as wonderful. I'm looking forward to taking up this new hobby in 2005.
