Well known for it's slow, dragged out storylines, this has been rather a speedy year for B&B. At this time last year, Ridge and Taylor were fighting over Pierce and Brooke (as well as considering adding to their family), Macy was just learning that father Adam Alexander was back in town as Myles Fairchild and that she had a half-sister Kimberly, Brooke was heading to Genoa City (on Y&R) to meet with Victor Newman, and Rick and Amber are fighting to get married so they can, together, be the parents of Amber's as-yet-unborn baby (who could belong to either one-night-stand Rick or date-rapist Raymond).
Since then, Ridge and Taylor conceived and birthed twins Stephanie and Phoebe (despite a tuberculosis scare), Forrester matriarch Stephanie suffered a debilitating stroke and regained the support of ex-husband Eric, Macy and Thorne got together and were later torn together by Brooke Logan going after (and temporarily winning) yet another Forrester male, Amber gave birth to a stillborn baby and let her conniving mother push her cousin Becky's unwanted baby on her, Kimberly openly planned to get Rick, more fashion fights between Spectra and Forrester, and, most recently, Amber returning little baby Eric to his birth mother, Becky, and coming clean to Rick about what really happened the night their baby was born and died.
