Touched by an Angel (BCTV 8:00 PM): The season premiere of "Touched by an Angel", an unusual hit from CBS that centers around Monica (Roma Downey) as an angel and messenger of God who, in less than 40 minutes, can take an atheist, a criminal, or a drug addict and turn them into a devout believer.
The Birdcage (BCTV 9:00 PM): The 1996 hit comedy with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane playing the gay parents of a young man who has just announced his engagement to the daughter ("Ally McBeal"'s Calista Flockhart) of a very conservative politician. Also starring Gene Hackman and Dianne Wiest.
Wagons East (BCTV 1:35 AM): This 1994 John Candy film was one of the last movies he made. In this film, a ragtag guide leads a group of people to a new life in a new land. Also starring Richard Lewis and Lochlyn Munro.
