CBC Canadianized

When responding to letters, CBC enjoyed using the following two phrases: "Our audience have responded passionately to our programming and have shown their support for us as a distinctly Canadian presence on the media landscape."; and "Canadians want and will support a Public Broadcasting Station that is truly Canadian". They never, however, addressed the fact that some of the shows they air are not only aired on other stations (meaning they are not unique), they are AMERICAN (meaning they are not Canadian). Personally, the only things I still watch on CBC is the occasional re-run of "Friends" or "Home Improvement", and sometimes the "Walt Disney" movies that air on Sunday. I would be willing to bet my bottom dollar that those shows aren't Canadian.
