Poetry seems to be bigger than ever in Canada, with readings at coffee houses and "stroll of poets" events where poets read at a variety of locations during the course of a weekend. I am not sure if we will ever see the likes of another Irving Layton or Leonard Cohen, but no doubt many more talents will emerge over the next few years.
