Canadian's in Vietnam

Based on the size of the organization and the number Canadian Vietnam veterans VVIC came in contact with, I estimated that Canadians serving in Vietnam numbered no more than 3,000". The number of POW/KIA/MIA are also subject to much speculation. Officially the numbers stand at 94 killed, 7 missing, and 0 POW's. But Mr. Shand goes on to extrapolate that the number would be much closer to 150.

The Canadian's in Vietnam were as brave and resilient as their forebears. Many served with distinction and earned many medals and one - Spc. 4 Peter C. Lemon of Norwich, Ontario, was the only one awarded the U.S.'s highest medal for bravery, for actions "above and beyond the call of duty" the Medal of Honor.
