stellar economic picture. There is no doubt the provincial government needs to find ways to save and spend money more efficiently in the health care and other sectors.

But to unilaterally declare which laws it will or will not follow - even editing or deleting those with which it finds itself in conflict - is the height of arrogance. And this latest example may yet prove to be the proverbial straw sending the province's workforce into chaos.
