Chasing Butterflies

May 16, 2004 - © Mary M. Alward

Do dogs get dizzy? I'm not sure, but from the way Meeko acts when he's chasing butterflies, it seems that they might.

Meeko is a wonderful pet. We have lots of fun together. It's one of the funniest things on earth to watch Meeko chasing butterflies.

Do you have a dog or a puppy? If so, I would like to hear about your pet. Just tell me in the discussion area, or click on the green envelope at the top of this page to send me an e-mail.

If you'd like to write a story about your pet, please send it to me in the body of an e-mail. Who knows, if it is at least 200 words long, I may decide to publish it as a guest article.

I used to have a dog who was part wolf. Cheyenne was a gentle creature. She too loved to go for a walk. If you would like to see what Cheyenne looked like please follow the link and look in the column on the left. There is also a story about her on this page.

I had another dog at the same time as I had Cheyenne. His name was Snowball. He was an American Eskimo. He was a beautiful dog. Unfortunately Snowball died on November 1, 2000. If you would like to see a picture of Snowball and read about him, please follow the link.

Did you know that dogs can make us live longer lives? I made a page paying tribute to What Dogs Do For Us. I hope you enjoy the graphics of the dogs and the poems that you'll find on this page.
