The Fall Season: A Special Enjoyment for Many Campers
As I wrote last year in my fall article, the wife and I especially love camping in the fall. Living in Southern California, however, we are denied the fabulous autumn leave displays that many of you enjoy. Nevertheless, there is crispness in the air and a certain aroma that is unmistakably autumnal. Usually this time of year will find us camping in Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park or along the Southern California coast. We did not make it this year, and believe me, I do dearly miss it! Many of our fellow campers did take the opportunity to enjoy a campout this fall. And so, in response to a request I posted on the Internet, here are a few of their great replies.
