Web Links That Make Campers Happy!

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! The more I search the Web for quality RV and camping links, the more amazed I become. There is a plethora of excellent web sites on the Internet for outdoors and camping enthusiasts. From personal homepages to commercial web sites, the amount of information, entertainment and advice is simply overwhelming! So, if you want to do a little "camping on the Web," tune up your browser and come along with me. I have some very interesting links to share with you.

Mary's Tips and Tricks

Personal web pages always intrigue me - if they are done well. And Mary Benlan's Camp-A-Roo.Com is one of the best I have seen! Mary offers a large web site that is loaded with interesting and informative data. Drawing from her and her family's camping experiences, she has camping tips and tricks for family campers, Mary's rules of the forest, projects and games, and suggestions for taking the kids camping. Her list of "Great Places to go" includes one of the most extensive outdoors/camping link collections on the Internet. I thought we were experienced traveling campers until I surfed Mary's web site. Mary and family are the real McCoy!

Schmaus' Canadian Link

Roy and Janet Schmaus are not novice campers either. Roy's Canadian Camping Guide is exactly that - a camping guide for Canadians and visitors. Many of Roy's camping links are parks and campgrounds that he or his friends have personally camped. Pertinent comments and photos are also included. With awards to prove it, his site provides an abundance of good information and links to outdoors activities, camping, touring, attractions and conservation topics for Canada.

Sweet's Spot

Although not a true "personal web page," David Sweet's MiningCo.Com Camping Page is one of the best camping and RV resources on the ole WWW. An avid camper and former National Park employee, David has an exciting and up to date camping page. My article would not be complete without mentioning his outstanding web page.

Bob and Brianna's

Another unique personal web stop, Bob and Brianna's Campsite, is a great family site that is for tent campers, RVers and outdoorsmen alike. If you need a list - be it for equipment, groceries or kitchen utensils - to help organize your next camping trip, Bob and Brianna have it! Their site is actually a quasi-personal one since they link their outdoors store (Fogdog Sports). A virtual general store of outdoors and camping apparel, equipment and gear, Fogdog Store is fun to browse through. The name is quite catchy as well!
