Wintertime Camping: A Snow Job or Virtual Reality Experience?

The Attributes of Newsgroups

Subscribing to RV/camping newsgroups is also a great way to spend some time and meet other happy campers like you. One can virtual camp through a newsgroup, and never post a word! However, there are some very interesting people who post on these groups and a lot of valuable information are exchanged. I met a fellow on the RV-Travel group who helped with our purchase of a new travel trailer - at a bargain price! The MSN camping forum is great for questions and answers or to just swap greetings. Tent trailer enthusiasts get together in the pop-up trailers newsgroup. If you care to stay in touch with fellow campers, the newsgroups are a good way to go!

Virtual Camping Year Round

Virtual camping on the Internet is informative and entertaining the year round, but it is especially useful during the winter when outdoors camping is regrettably limited. Whether you're a real snow camper or a fair-weather wimp, like myself, using the resources available on the Web is an exciting way to spend those cold, dreary days of winter.

Where do you want to "virtual camp" tonight?
