Tired of having to deal with crowds at the mall? Or having to park so far away that the parking stall doesn't even have any oil stains? Do you have a friend on your Christmas gift list that loves gardening? OK, how about a friend or relative who simply puts up with gardening because it's something that has to be done?

Yardshark gardening tools. In the tradition of Samurai swords and bonsai art, the Shark Corporation in southern California offers state of the art hand gardening tools. Instead of using the traditional method of drop-forging, which loses the majority of carbon in its process, Yardshark tools utilize top-grade, special alloy, high-carbon steel. The high-technology tempering process assures exceptional sharpness and longevity.

Hand pruners go for around $21, pruning saws for $25 and bypass loppers running $37. But the adage of you get what you pay for is even more accurate when it comes to garden tools.
